A great question to eliminate self limiting beliefs and to explore the solutions and what it takes to reach whatever goal it is that the sales individual had set out to accomplish. Russell Wilson is a prime example of overcoming doubt and people always telling him that he wasn’t tall enough, strong enough, experienced enough and only with two years in the NFL, he had won the Super Bowl against a very strong team that had a veteran QB, Peyton Manning.
In taking a page out of Russell’s leadership, I have also added the question he asked of his team: “Why Not US”- Why not US winning the Super Bowl? I ask my team, “Why not us?” – to be the #1 team in the nation? I then add the motivation links to the videos of Russell Wilson explaining this and show them the power behind believing in yourself as well as executing to win and expecting to win, without limiting yourself our ourselves.
