As a sales manager, one of the top priorities is to help your team set and achieve goals they set for themselves. In coaching my sales team, I usually ask them to reflect back on the year prior and to ask themselves how many goals they have completed and followed through on. It is not a surprise, but a majority of them either put them aside to tackle more pressing issues and the busyness of the day to day business operations get in the way.
