Every month I always pick up a new book and read before going to bed. The topics vary since I do like to have some variety in my life to keep my book reading time pleasurable. I usually try to pick different topics and will sometimes pick a book at random or by suggestion from a friend. One of the questions I ask of all my friends and of all people I admire or respect is, "if they had one book to recommend reading, what would it be" and would go out and read it.
So every month, I will be picking up a new book and will give my personal review at the end of the month.
For this month, I have chosen, "The Devil's Casino" by Vicky Ward. The thing that interested me about this book is the inside look at a major financial company which will give me the pleasure of enjoying the story as well as the historical insiders view at a life that I am not a part of. Not only will it give me that, I hope to gain some business lessons that this book will reveal, both what to do and especially what not to do.
